Young workers can connect with statewide labor movement through Michigan Young Workers United

LANSING March 24, 2016– Any young workers (35 and under) looking to become more engaged in Michigan’s laboryoungactivist movement now have the opportunity to do so through Michigan Young Workers United. Simply text “MYWU” (no quotes) to 94502. You’ll then be given information on opportunities to become more engaged in community and union activism statewide.

The efforts to engage Michigan’s young workers are being coordinated by the Michigan AFL-CIO, and any questions can be directed to Micheal Davis at MDavis@miaflcio.org.
