Lakeshore Community Labor Council, AFL-CIO

An advocate for west Michigan working families through collective action, education and community partnerships.

Let’s Get Out The Vote! Sign up to volunteer!

If you’d like to canvass for candidates who stand up for working families, just let us know voteclipboardwhen you’re available. Our focus is on electing Collene Lamonte to the Michigan House of Representatives. Collene is running for Michigan’s 91st House District in Muskegon County.

We’ll be knocking on doors almost every day from now until Election Day! Can you commit to a couple hours on a Saturday morning? You can also schedule a shift Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. We also need people who are able to work on Election Day to get people to the polls!

One shift is two hours, but can mean the difference between winning and losing on November 8! All walks will originate out of the CIO Hall at 490 W Western Ave in Muskegon, MI. Phone banking can take place at either the CIO Hall in Muskegon or Kent-Ionia Labor Center in Grand Rapids.
